Accessibility statement

Conformance goal and status

We design and test the site against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: the core pages are keyboard accessible and readable without animation or JavaScript, but future media, browser behaviour and third-party services may introduce issues that our internal testing does not catch.

Accessibility features

• A skip link, semantic headings, landmarks and descriptive page titles.
• Keyboard access to every room, legal page, link and control, with visible focus styles.
• Text alternatives for still images; decorative transition video is muted and hidden from assistive technology.
• Reduced-motion support that replaces room video with a simple transition.
• Measured colour contrast, responsive layouts and touch targets sized for mobile use.
• Real URLs for every room, so the content remains available when JavaScript is disabled.

Known limitations

Room-transition videos are decorative and therefore have no captions; they do not contain speech or information that is missing from the destination page. Extreme combinations of text zoom and very small landscape viewports may reduce how much of a room is visible at once. The legal pages use normal document scrolling so their content can reflow.
